The "L" Litter
Why the "L" Litter??
Since 1934, the Wacthelhund organization in Germany has prescribed a specific order for naming Wachtelhund pups. This order states, " the pups from the first litter of a breeder will be named with a alphabetic letter the same as their kennel name, and then follow by vom (from) and the kennel name." Subsequent litters are named with the next alphabetical letter. Example: Lexy vom Last Chance is a pup from the first Wachtelhund litter born from Last Chance Wachtelhunds Kennel.
The "O" Litter
The "O" Litter was born March 20, 2007. Lexy and Duke produced one pup. His name is Oden and he's been a great dog with a sweet disposition.
The "M" Litter
Benelli gave birth to the "M" Litter on May 7th, 2005.
The "N" Litter was born March 6, 2006. The sire was Duke von der Balthasarley and the dam was Allie vom Flint Hills (Benelli).
The "N" Litter
We welcomed the "L" litter on June 2, 2004. We kept one female for ourselves. We named her Lexy.
We're currently between breedable females. We have an 8-month old direct German import named Ella who is showing strong potential. A litter is tentatively planned in about 18 months.
