Duke is a Heltiger which is recessive.  Ella is a brown schimmel which is dominant.  They will have brown schimmel, with the possibility of a solid brown, puppies. All the pups Duke has sired with brown schimmel females have been brown schimmel.

Good News!  Duke and Ella bred on the 31st of July.  If all goes well, the “P” litter will be due September 29th.  We are currently taking deposits. We’re eager for more puppies.  It’s been a while since Wachtel pups were running around here.
